In 400 words or less, create a scene in which a character must
immediately make a decision. Show the circumstances leading up to
that climactic moment and then imply the aftermath of the decision.

Have you ever felt pressured to make an extremely difficult decision?
Most of us have been in that position - no further delay is possible.

Construct a story that puts your character in a very uncomfortable position.

Critique: Could you picture the problem and feel the tension as the
protagonist tries to make up his or her mind? What was your reaction
to this decision? Did you expect a different outcome? Would you read
further?
